Solar Eclipse 🌑☀️New Moon in Virgo

On September 21— approximately 3:54 PM ET— we have a New Moon. This New Moon is no ordinary reset—it’s a Solar Eclipse at the powerful, karmic 29° of Virgo. The final degree of a sign always signals culmination, integration, and the turning of a page. At this critical point, we’re invited to tie up loose ends, release what no longer serves, and step into new cycles with clarity and intention. The 29° is the anaretic, or karmic degree. This degree is never subtle; it’s a cosmic exclamation point, amplifying the themes at hand and urging us toward decision, closure, or breakthrough.

This particular eclipse aligns with the South Node, which means it’s not about brand-new beginnings as much as it is about culmination and resolution. Old stories resurface so we can integrate their lessons, release what no longer serves, and reclaim the wisdom gained along the way. This is what paves the way for new beginnings.

In Virgo, what is highlighted is discernment, purification, and devotion to what truly matters. Under this Eclipse, pay attention to what your body, mind, and spirit are asking to release. What habits, stories, or dynamics have reached their limit? What is seeking regeneration? This Eclipse spotlights where we must simplify, reorganize, and devote ourselves to what truly sustains.
